Protein is a key requirement for getting fit, whether you are doing cardio or progressive weight lifting.  When you consume too little protein, your body will burn muscle as well as fat.  If you consume the right amount, you will burn fat and retain or build muscle.  We will go over your protein recommendations when you do your fitness evalutation with your personal trainer.
